The Problem

Tell me, do you think this take on things is too simplistic? Too biased? Not roughly true?

Modern Democrats: WE are the problem. It is US that needs fixing. We need better a better health care system; improved criminal justice processes; less institutional racism; fairly-drawn congressional districts; better schools; less inequality of results and income, more equality of opportunity; healthier and free school lunches; less student debt / perhaps free college tuition; reduced use of fossil fuels; more representative government / better governance; etc etc etc. These are things that WE either screwed up or allowed to get broken, and WE need to fix OUR problems.

Modern Republicans: THEY are the problem, all those people who aren't us. Muslims. Socialists. Terrorists. Foreigners. Asians. Communists. Feminists. Environmentalists.  Immigrants. Gays. Arabs. LGBTs. Welfare queens. Anybody who disagrees with "America-First-ism." The rest of the world.
