In order for Biden to win the presidency, at least some of the 63 million people who voted for Donald Trump will have to change their allegiance and vote for Joe Biden.
We don't actually know that for sure. It's possible that all the Trump voters could again vote for Trump, but more people voting Democratic (in the right places!) turn out for Biden than they did for Hillary, thereby winning the election for Biden.
But for the sake of argument, let's say that some of the Trump voters have to vote for Biden this time around.
However, we know that Trump voters are largely resistant to any sort of fact-based persuasion. The Christians don't care that he lies, cheats, steals, is an adulterer, is vindictive, and pretty much regularly violates the ten commandants and all of Jesus' teachings; they vote for him anyway.
The racists also don't care what he does or says, they'll vote for him regardless.
The rest of the Republican base seems likewise impervious to facts about Trump. Denigrating veterans, lying to the American public about the seriousness of the corona virus, disrespecting John McCain, telling people to vote twice, supporting the killing of protesters by both police and "concerned citizens"--nothing he does seems to have any effect of Republicans' support of Trump.
So, finally, the point is, and again assuming that our premise above is true:
The future of America depends on changing the minds of people who are impervious to fact-based observations or arguments.

This is in keeping with my long-held opinion that the Republican slogan for the 21st century should be:
