#2: Oh But I'm Not A Racist

Second in the series of "What It Means to be a Republican in the 21st Century."

At last week's rally in Phoenix, the greatest cheer for President Trump came when he squinted his eyes to look Chinese-y and called corona virus the "Kung Flu." The people in attendance "responded with thunderous applause," and video footage "shows that several young men leaped to their feet, pumping their fists in the air in exultation, apparently thrilled to see their hero transgress all bounds of common decency right in front of them."

This is what being a Republican in the 21st century is all about. These are not out-riders or exceptions or party extremists. It is the base of the modern Republican Party.
