I would think that the solution to the problem of black people being disproportionately accosted and abused by police would be being loudly proclaimed and recommended by all the 2nd Amendment nuts and extremists.

If the black population had more and better guns and carried them whenever they left the house, the problem would go away, wouldn't it? Police would approach armed black people like they do armed right-wing extremists—i.e., they would be friendly, supportive and cautious. Right?

Oh wait. The reason that all the Conservatives and stand-your-grounders and right-wing extremists have so many guns in the first place is because of black people having SOME guns. So I guess giving more guns to blacks wouldn't help.

Silly me.

Remember: the first requirement or qualification of being a modern Republican is to be able to endure—even embrace—amounts of hypocrisy that would kill a normal person. So it's perfectly fine for WHITE people to arm themselves to the teeth, but not for black people to do the same. We have one set of laws for me, and a different set for you.
