In the aftermath of the 9/11/2001 terrorist attack on the Twin Towers and other targets in the US, President Bush declared a war on terror. His popularity rating went way up, wars in Afghanistan and Iraq soon followed, and America proudly responded with fury and violence to the attack on our homeland.
