For those of you are a little slow to catch on, which of course includes none of the readers of this blog, here's a little visual (with commentary) explanation for why it is that Conservatives want to cut taxes, get government off the backs of business, get rid of stupid and restrictive environmental regulations, and reduce the size of government.

Growing up in the 1940s outside of New York City, I occaisionally saw dust clouds like this from coal piles. You'd think that in this day and age they could be avoided. But if push comes to shove, I'd rather be dirty than hungry or cold.
