Krugman*: "The greatest intellectual sin here is to care more about protecting your turf ... than about the real economy that desperately needs every form of help we can deliver."

Griffin: I'm afraid that means that approximately 95% of Congressional Republicans will not be assisting in any form of recovery. It's been quite some time since reality-denial became the first and foremost qualification for GOP party leaders in particular and members in general. There's no reason whatsoever to think that having their economic positions shown to be false, harmful and completely misguided will have any effect on them at all.
