I'm really enjoying this Politico election map (click on image below), not so much because it shows the red and blues states (although that also) but because you can click on a state and see how the individual counties voted. You can find out things like: in Leslie County, eastern Kentucky, an astonishing 89% of voters backed Romney; in Oklahoma, not a
single county voted for Obama; in South Carolina, there were a surprising (to me, at least) number of Obama counties—and North Carolina almost went blue.
If you come across any other cool/informative/imaginative election maps, please let me know. What I'm hoping to find is a continuous-zoom/drill-down map (like Google Maps) showing voting patterns, election data, etc.
