That's Fast

Any given point on the surface of the earth is moving through space, relative to the center of the earth, at the speed of approximately 1040 miles per hour. A point on the surface of a neutron star would be moving at about 6.8 million miles per hour.

Later: Oh wait. This is scientific theory. I hope any Republicans and fundamentalists who may be reading this aren't offended.
