We're Number 50!

Of course there are lots of reasons that one would want to live in America.

1. You're rich.
   
2. You can't get anywhere else.

Here's a nice article describing how an American ex-pat living in Norway keeps getting asked to explain what America and Americans are doing, generally in a sort of "Have they lost their minds?" context.

Remember what a great place it used to be?

I think we should all probably be hoping and praying that American power declines gracefully and rapidly, instead of being captured by some Hitler-type who will use our money and our nukes to forcefully "restore America to greatness." Think it can't happen here? Why?
